AshSten James was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Music was all Ash knew growing up outside of  hobbies such as Basketball and Drawing. From years 2003-2007 Ash took a Music Tech. class learning to produce songs from scratch. AshSten does not only have the talent of just being an Artist, she is great at producing. After Ash graduated High School in 2007, she studied music  at UNO and for over 13 years now AshSten has developed self taught skill as a producer/audio engineer. AshSten is also quite the songwriter, she wrote songs for R&B singer Kiki Williams and Rap Artist Dha Kidd Nappy. When it comes time to get on the stage, Ash has no problem in being the best at being a live performer. In her words " Being on stage is Home I live there." In 2019 Ash was affiliated with Nice Enough ENT. Back to back shows with this crew all 2019 from Danksgiving Free events to King ISO shows in and out of town. 2020 Nice Enough ENT had a tour lined up for AshSten alongside other Nice Enough Artist, Unfortunately in 2020 due to COVID-19 a lot of venues were shutdown therefore artist could not perform nor tour.  In 2020 AshSten became an Audio Engineer/Producer for the DripCAMM a multimedia company founded by Ash's Good friend LongPlay. Over the past 13 years AshSten has been/released over 12 projects, 5 of them are Mixtapes. Ash just released an EP " All of Us Feel the Same"  in September 2020 and  released her latest project "The Elephant in the Room" on April 16th 2021 so ENJOY!
